I just purchased a Specialized Sequoia Expert after years on a mountain bike, and a few on a recumbent which had quick releases that were simular. The Specialized brand releases have a very "cammy" action, so that when you lever them into their locked position, you need to have them fairly tight so when the cam rolls over there is still resistance when moved into its locked position. This ends up being alot more initial pressure than I am use to applying to quick releases.
I was wondering if anyone using Specialized quick releases on their qheels would indicate an approximate degree angle before or after parallel with the hub, that the quick releases touch the dropouts and resistance starts to build when you install your wheels.
