looking to get back into some xc/singletrackin, and would like to get out with some people (Blue Mtn, Sprain, Graham, Fahnestock, Catskills even). since y'all seem pretty nice, thought i'd start here. btw, my mtn bike is rigid-fork ss. i used to mtn bike a lot, and am now getting back into it. so i'm not a beginner, but i'm by no means advanced. dare i say intermediate? also, nothing to read into here, but my fiance also rides, so if your better half complains that you guys don't do enough together, this may be a good opportunity to quell those daily naggings . . . .
