I am looking to replace a 2005-vintage Record front derailleur cage assembly (Part no.: RE FD001, as per the catalogue pages on the Campy site) and finding it something of a pricey proposition -- north of $100, plus shipping -- for new.

As such, I am thinking a cheaper route may simply to buy a new/used unit and canibalize that for the fix.

That said, I am curious whether a newer cage -- RE FD215 (from the QS iteration) or SR FD015 (from the 11-speed groups) -- would fit my 2005 braze-on?

The diagrams in the catalogue do not -- beyond cutouts in the aluminium portion of the rear arm -- appear manifestly different.

Thanks (!) in advance for the insight.
