I have been using a Sports Instruments PRO 7 for 2-3 yrs. and it is very frustrating. I could go on about it's problems but, since I've decided to move on, what I really need is advice and the experience of others. I use my HRM in spinning classes which means darkness, so a new HRM has to have backlighting. I'm OK with basic functions and it would be nice if the batteries could be easily changed by the user. I also want one that doesn't zero out in the middle of my workouts. Any recommendations? TIA.

It has plenty of features for me and probably enough for you as well. It's also fairly easy to setup. Changing batteries in the watch and the chest-strap is a simple process. It has the Indiglo night-light which is easy to activate, but it isn't a constant backlight. I believe Timex has replaced the T5H911 with a newer model. I've been pleased with it.
