Miller has kept the US in the game so far. Entertaining game!

I don't follow hockey, but of course have to watch this...

Couple of things I notice...the three stooges really shouldn't play hockey, brodeur has broken my heart with how crappy he is playing, and the US goalie...good job.

US is playing solid hockey, canada is...sucking...4 to 3 for the US...

Brodeur was stellar 5 or so years ago. I've seen him play twice this month and thought he was on the decline.

Okay, Canada's back on line. The wrong team won 5 to 3 but the last one doesn't count as it was an empty net. R.Miller (U.S.A. goalie) was hot,Brodeur was not.

The first two..maybe even the third, goals made me wanna vomit. What was it...2 goals in the first 4 or 5 shots...bleh...

Good to see at least one American is watching. Yes it was a good game, but could have had a better result :( Team USA played a good game and deserved to win.

The refs were real slow in the 3rd period to blow the whistle when Ryan Miller had the puck covered.Speared every time he covered the puck,no goalie interference called.

The younger team seems to dominate hockey nowadays,where of course Chris Pronger (the big goon)is an exception to that age opinion.Canada played good,puck always around Miller,but youth had more legs at the end.
Was that empty netter depressing to you?How did he manage to reach out that far?

Meh. I wrestled with a live online feed for three hours that managed to drop before every single goal on either side. Would have minded less if Canada had scored more of those goals...

at least you kids got to watch; I'm in Sri Lanka where the newspaper's only coverage of the Olympics is a paragraph about Michael Phelps being inspired after his visit to Vancouver. I kid you not. The TV coverage is "okay" but you don't get everything, and it's only live coverage, so unless I want to stay up into the wee hours, I'm missing it. Case in point: I woke up just after Bode Miller's downhill run in the super-combined, and had to turn it off. Missed that, too....

It isn't incorrect, brodeur played like crap...I don't know if it was nerves, cockiness or the need to try and look good, but he stunk. The two goals HE allowed were unnaceptable. Canada's offence was outplayed absolutely by Miller. Kudos...
And why comment on an empty netter? Where did I even mention that. Yes, as some canadian commentator said, that was probably the best empty net goal I have ever seen. That, in the end had no effect on the game. Good goal though.

As for young vs old, the last 4 minutes showed canada had something, we just showed up late. Maybe the canadians expected to win so didn't play 100%, maybe they didn't come out with the sheer fiercness the US team did, maybe they didn't expect it to be so competetive (heck looks at how we bent norway over), heck maybe we aren't THAT good (hell we did pick pronger and started brodeur)...not sure, but if sidney only has 2 shots walking into the 3rd...thats like payton manning having tried to throw the ball only 6 times by the 4th quarter...unnacceptable play. We were outshooting the US, but were they actually quality?...Not many of them were.

And don't get me started on pronger...jesus...I can't believe he is still skating?

As for the last 4 minutes,Millers net was used as a shooting gallery but our players sacrificed their bodies to block the shots(they wanted it more I guess).
We have in our immediate family now one of your countryman/former player so these games do cause some mild tension.:)No wonder we're tightening up our borders.

As far as Brodeur,3 of the goals were tipped in/redirected and usually not stopped too often by a goalie.

I don't look at one game for Brodeur. His record this season hasn't been stellar. Miller? Yes, he had a great game.
