Well, I feel I need to say sorry for not posting recently. My excuse is discrete math and the proofs that I must prove. This class is causing me much pain (in the brain) and many feelings of failure and inadequacy. Back to the topic that I enjoy:love: I took my new (to me) baby out for my first ride since changing almost everything. Some of you may remember that I bought my first road bike after riding with fellow forum members in 2009. The bike ,an 84 Bianchi (Japanese), originally was a six speed rear 126 spacing with down-tube friction shifters. I changed to a 130 spacing 8 speed rear with indexed bar end shifters. The wheel set is from BWW and including the wheels I have about $440 into the bike. This bike is so much more responsive then my hybrid I cant explain. I took it out today and found out how much stamina I have lost since Sept. I only did about 8 miles this time out. The weather is starting to turn towards Oregon's beautiful green instead of winters ugly gray so I plan on getting out as much as I can. Anyway I have to get back to my headache but I wanted to post some before and after pics.
