Tandem Cycling - Tandem Jerseys??

Does anyone know where to find tandem cycling jerseys? Or where we can have custom ones made with having to order 25 or more?

Co-Motion, at least, have their own jerseys, and even entire kits (http://co-motion.com/shopping_cart/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1). I don't think that other makers, e.g. Santana, da Vinci, Calfee, offer or sponsor tandem-related cycling clothing. But they should.

Would be nice to have a tandem-themed jersey. This Retro (http://www.retroimageapparel.com/index2.html) Cycles Gladiator (http://www.retroimageapparel.com/retroimagecatalog/jerseys/clearance.html) jersey is nice.

A similar jersey but incorporating a tandem poster image would look great on its own, and have a tandem theme.

Our daughter gave us a pair of very nice T-shirts printed with our TangoTandem logo (TangoTandem is our Buenos Aires tandem club, which unfortunately has only two real members, my stoker and myself, a very prestigious club, have not worked too hard on a membership drive, we have some associate members though). She ordered them on some website, and they were not expensive.

We liked the idea but would have preferred cycling jerseys, when we looked for a company that would print our logo on a cycling shirt for a small order, 2-6, like that T-Shirt print shop, we could not find one. Anybody know who would do it?

I emailed Retro (http://www.retroimageapparel.com/retroimagecatalog/jerseys/horton.htm), to suggest that they make up a tandem-themed jersey from a vintage poster. I heard back. Retro also makes Micro Brewery Jersey's (http://microbeerjerseys.com/jerseys.html), including the Pike Brewery jersey (http://microbeerjerseys.com/pike-brewing.html). Pike Brewery (http://www.pikebrewing.com/) happens to sell a beer called Tandem Double Ale (http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/365/33227). So, Retro has designed a new Pike Tandem jersey, replete with a graphic of an exultant tandem team. I don't know when this will be available.

Sign up for a tandem rally and buy a pair of their event jerseys.

If you can find a local screen printer / t-shirt printer who does "sublimation printing", the choices widen out a lot. You create the image, you give them the jersey, you give them some money, and voila, a printed jersey. Talk to them first about the possibilities.

Hmmm...not all tandem rallies (http://www.thetandemlink.com/RallyInfo.html) have jerseys. The Midwest Tandem Rally (http://www.mtr2010.org/jerseys.html) does.

Ritterview - thank you! The Pike Tandem Double Ale jersey will definitely get my order! (Although my favorite brew - now discontinued - is Magic Hat's Jinx - and yes, I have the jersey. No tandem content, however.) Do you think you could get Tandem Winery to create a jersey, too?

Other matching jersey ideas - We have almost matching jerseys from TwinSix.com - a great bike apparel duo in Minneapolis. For example, the Men's Greaser and the Women's Scarlet Sculls look great together. Similar, but not exact - a look I like. They also have the M.O.R.C. And we wear our Twin Six Fat Cyclist jerseys more than any others.

I searched eBay for over a year to complete our set of Pearl Izumi "Out of this World" Cosmic Velo jerseys with two guys on a tandem in space. (This is the Rouxel and Dubois poster on a jersey).

There are still the Graham Watson Tour of France jerseys in mens and womens sizes.

There are lots of causes, rallies, bike shops, and bike clubs selling jerseys. Search these to find jerseys that help captain and stoker look great.
