Felt lazy last nite, so I kicked back in the recliner & turned on the brain-drain & came across this show (http://planetgreen.discovery.com/tv/woman-stops-traffic/info-show.html).

She tried to get people to get outta their cars in Durham, with some success. Gonna have to search out the other episodes.

Yeah I watched that when it was on. I think it got cancelled after a few episodes. I found it pretty disappointing as she didn't have much success. Shows how hard it is going to be to change peoples' habits. She even showed them how much better it would be by not driving. *sigh*

I saw the first show. She was great. Interesting to see how enthusiasm is appealing ... but can't knock down the wall of indifference.

Bad show title - it's enough to incite motorists to get ticked off without ever having seen it in the first place.
