What is the current market price for a late 1980s schwinn prologue in good shape with all shimano 600?

Street price is $300-400 in the spring and subject to condition and market.

+1 On Jim's estimate, adjust downward for XL sizes and any condition issues. Desirable bike for sure. $400 for a 1980s american made road bike is the higher end of the scale. Might do better on ebay, but its a crap shoot.

+1 on the estimate. These bikes were sold as framesets only, so there is a lot of variety on ways to build it. Which Shimano 600 group does it have? (SIS or friction? 6 or 7 gear freewheel?)

Nice bike...yours is the second one I have seen, hope some day to come across one at the right time. The bikes seem to me to be an excellent Schwinn that is rare and should bring a higher price to some degree because of its rarity...but it doesn't. I hope when I do come across one similar it is as cheap as they are going for now. Perhaps Schwinn should have promoted that particular model a little harder as it seems it could have been a great seller because of its looks. Thats a tall bike you have there...looks as tall as a Raleigh I have to sell this spring. Good luck with it and enjoy it if you keep it!
