Any1 here did a tour between barcelona & nice? If so, what route did u take? Was it mostly the coastline? Enough shoulder room for bike? Are cars/trucks aware of bikers? How about hills, any hills or mostly flat?

If you have a link to ur route, that would be great.

What time of year are you planning? I've never done that route, but there is no way you would ever see me riding on the coast during the summer months, crowded with lots of traffic! Consider a somewhat inland route through lot, cevennes, ardeche, and such.
