Hello everyone,
Well I have been riding loops from Modesto/Riverbank to Crabtree Rd./Knights Ferry and Orange Blossom Rd. for some time now and have passed by many cyclists. I usually just wave and do the "Hi" and keep on riding. I was just wondering if there are any cyclists on BF that regularly ride around these areas.

I don't have any riding partners, would be fun to meet up on the road and ride for a bit. Though the scenery is nice enough for solo rides.

Well my name is Diego and if you happen to see me out riding these routes say hello!
Here is a pic of what I usually look like.

Well you get the idea... Hope to see you guys and gals out there this year... Goal is 3000mi this year, so I will be riding loops often out there.

Hi Diego,

There are a couple of us over here that ride there once in a while. Its been a while since I've done the loop around woodward/orangeblossom/sonora road but I've done that ride quite a few times. You may want to check in with the Stanislaus bike club or the Stockton bike club ... I think both of them have rides that they do all around the area :p

That is my reg stomping ground for sure. You should join up with the Fun Sport Bike Cycling Team. They are a great group of people. I am recovering from a fractured clavicle so I have been on the trainer for the last week or so, but plan to get out on the road this Sunday.

I'm not sure where Crabtree is. Do you actually ride on 108/120? I don't know of any other way to get out to the Knight's Ferry area. I once rode 108 from Coffee to McHenry and it freaked me out.

There's no chance I'd be able to keep up with you, but always glad to hear about other cyclists in the area. Also glad to hear you're a waver. Always makes me happy when people wave.

I hope you can see the images correctly. Crabtree Rd. runs from Roberts Ferry to Knights Ferry, I guess it is around 12-15mi. distance? Rolling hills, I believe there is one or two hills that have a 7-13% grade, no more than 1/4mi. to 1/2mi. in length.

Thank you Diego! I didn't know that road was even there... it sure opens up a lot more route possiblities when I start doing longer rides! :thumb:

Oh! Funny, I drove through Robert's Ferry today going to and from Snelling and was thinking that it would be an awesome place to ride.

Oh god no! I photographed it just for fun. It was beautiful out there yesterday, aside from the mud and flooded roads of course.
