my city doesn't collect it and all the private centres that do will only collect it if you're part of their municipality, which my house is not.

there's no other way to get rid of it other than tossing it into the garbage or using it as packaging material.

Just burn it and inhale the smoke. Your lungs will filter out all the bad stuff and you will breathe out clean recycled air.

If you have a Dart Container factory nearby - they take it and reuse it.

Actually some cool ideas in here. I like the take it to a school or institution and have it turned into a gel. Never heard of that.

Toronto does recycle it (http://www.toronto.ca/garbage/bags_and_foam_faq.htm). Just put it in your blue bin.
