Hey Guys and Gals,

I'm looking at building up an early 90's frame with a Sram Rival Grouppo, but I'm not 100% on the logistics of it all. The spacing is fine at 130mm and the front derailleur is a clamp-on so there should be no issues with that. Also reagular side-pull calipers should fit no problem. Threaded headset and quill stem is fine. The frame has cable tops on the downtube.

My first concern is the rear derailleur. Will a Sram rear derailleur work with campagnolo drop-outs/derailleur hanger?

My second concern in the bottom bracket. Will a Sram italian threaded external bottom bracket work with the italian bottom bracket on such a bike?

The frame I'm look at is Colnago Olympic Master if that helps.

Thanks!

Dropouts and hangers will work 100%. Campy derailleurs that most people use on their Colnagos work in the same hangers that people use for SHimano and Sram... and vice-versa.

AFAIK, there is only one size and threading for 'Italian' BBs, so if you have an Italian BB set and your frame has Italian threading, that will also work.

In short... yes it will.
