very cool. I'm confused as to why they bothered to double up on the bottom brackets and chainrings. Just to be cool? I think having a 106 tooth chainring machined out for them would have been waaaaay cooler. Then they could have gotten away with only one set of cranks/bottom bracket and half the transfer friction.

They probably wanted the wheel to get all the attention, not the crazy huge chainring. Plus you get into problems with ground clearance and stuff when the ring is bigger than the cranks.
