Anybody else hear/read about that incident? I heard about it on the Tim Conway Jr. show Thursday evening. One of KFI's news editors and avid cyclist Micheal Clarke had his daily commuter Specialized bike worth over $2000 stolen while shopping at a grocery store. 10 days later he spotted it on Craigslist and set up a sting with LAPD. Here's the link (http://www.kfiam640.com/pages/stevengregory.html). You may have to scroll down.

Why leave a S-works bike even when its locked outside?

It makes for a good story. Where else can you get a good story for $2,000 these days. Heck, the Paparazzi would charge double for the Madeville Canyon physician. This way the LAPD gets good press too. Its a win-win.
