Foo - Want a smaller family plan -- How can I get T-Mobile to budge?

Currently my family of three shares a 550 minute account with AT&T wireless. We never even use all of our minutes though -- sometimes we use only half! The smallest plan T-Mobile offers is 750 minutes per month. The plan is the same price as what we pay now for AT&T, so we're indifferent in this regard. However, AT&T offered us, for $10 less per month, a 450 minute plan. Would T-Mobile match something like this if asked?

I highly doubt it, but try your luck at local store, not on phone with some corporate sales agent. I have a similar problem. Our att contract runs out in June. I simply want two lines with unlimited data and text for less than $50 and perhaps only 300-400 anytime minutes. I don't think I will find it.

Doubtful, but you never know until you ask.

I would just forget about T-mobile in my opinion.

Pay as you go. I think they are called "Go phones"?

Well we went ahead and bought the 750 minute plan for the 3 of us. It's not costing anything more than what AT&T charges now, so there's no loss there. Plus $10 a month gives me unlimited texting on my phone as opposed to the meager 400 messages it fetches me with AT&T.
