Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Ok, I know that for a century ride to count it has to be 100 miles but if you want to take the toughest metric century in Colorado check out the Healing Wheels Tour.

It's a great tour that is fully supported and has a few routes other than the 100k, plus 100% of the proceeds go to charity.

So who is up for earning their badge this year?

Here are some pics, it goes through Red Rocks, Evergreen, Brook forest, with a few nice steep climbs including a jaunt on High Drive. It totals about 5000ft of climbing.

One week left before the tour, any takers?
The weather is going to be great, free food, fully supported aid stations, challenging climbs, amazing scenery, live music!
What more could you want?

i would love to do this since its so close to home, but the $95 on site fee (i know its for charity, but im kinda broke-ish) makes this a non-starter

I'm in the broke sick of organized rides crowd. Sorry.
