I'll take a pic when I get home.
Orange Kona Hahanna MTB. Steel frame, nice and light, rigid steel fork 26" wheels and cantis.

The bad is only some wear and the RD thumb lever is broken off. It'll clean up nice I think. Just my luck it's about an inch too small at 16" frame but the reach is good for me, but the bars would need raising.

So I'm wondering what this may be worth to the vintage steel MTB crowd. I'm considering making it a Single Speed or a fun BMX style cruiser but I really was hoping to fit it better.

May sell it a s a frameset or as a full bike.

Here's some pics. This frame is very "compact" geometry and I placed the seat where it needs to be for me. I actually think it feels good and nimble. If I could raise the bars I'd even entertain this as a cheap single speed... hmmm

I'll post info on what this bike sells for. I tried it and think it's a bit too small for me. Nice steel frame though. While not C&V road, I think it qualifies for the tail end of C&V MTB. Some of Kona's first designs I believe.

Looks like a nice one for sure. In my market, nice rigid frame MTBs have minimal value unfortunately (I have about a dozen to sell right now: Gary Fisher, several Trek, Specialized, Lotus, Univega, Fuji, etc) They will sell come riding season to the basic recreational rider.

You are in a better market so that will help. Around here, vintage rigid mountain bikes go for between $100 to $175, depending on condition and component level. This assumes cromoly frame, alloy rims, LBS brand, good components and ready to ride. I consider such MTBs to be the best bargain for a recreational end user today.
