I'm looking for a place to stay preferbly in Statin Island. Would love to pull my camper but a hotel or B&B would be nice.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Tony

Depends on your budget. The Pittsburgh Post Gazette has a story (http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/10052/1036903-140.stm) on the 5 Boro Tour and mentions the Marriott.
$250/night plus $20 bike storage :roflmao:

They also mention Hosteling International which is where Bike New York has its offices. That's probably the best deal in Manhattan. As for Staten Island, who knows if it even has a hotel  Google Earth shows place not far from the ferry that seems to be called Fort Place Deli (http://maps.google.com/places/us/new-york/new-york/fort-pl/22/-fort-place-bed-and-breakfast?cid=16339988735772680351&fb=1&hl=en&gl=us) that might be a B&B.. might be a Deli. My Google Earth seems a bit wonky today.

That's actually a great location and reasonable to boot.
You could pedal to the ferry in the morning and pedal back to your room after the ride.

That Whitehouse hotel (http://www.ny.com/frame?url=http://www.whitehousehotelofny.com/&frame=/frame/hotels.html) looks like a real experience... "this is one white house where you won't find Monica Lewinski staying over night!!"

If you really want a cheap place to stay, bring a tent and go camping @ Floyd Bennett Field.
