the river enters that pool from the right, but it is hidden by the bluffs.

It looks to be a kind of bipinnatifid, I'm going to guess that it is an Osmunda Regalis.

I'll take his word for it, I know nothing of plants. I just like taking their pictures, at night, with flashlight-light sources :D
