Great Lakes - Can anyone recommend some good Cincinnati, Ohio bike shops?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

A friend of mine in Cincinnati is looking to buy a new bike in the 500 dollar price range. Can anyone recommend some of the best local bike shops? It does not matter which brand they deal since he is not sure what he wants yet.

I was visiting Cincinnati last fall and found the people at Reiser's (just across the river in Newport) terrific.

When I used to live in the area, I frequented "Wheelie Fun" in Lebanon,OH, that was about 8 years ago.

Team Cycling and Fitness on Colerain Ave ( bought both my bikes there)

They also have a coupon at their site for a % off purchases
Montgomery Cyclery although $500 might not get them far here

Performance in Kenwood, they have a pretty good sale going on right now

Biowheels and Campus Cyclery are, IMO, the best bike shops in town with the best service. Don't bother with Montgomery Cyclery.
