it seems that even last year, there were very few, but all summer long, i've been seeing them all over the road.

when i'm out for a ride, it seems that one out of five riders is on some sleek TT machine.

have you noticed this?

Yes, see lots of 'em ... on the road, at the store (Supergo, Performance, etc.).
But they suck climbing hills.

Yea, I walked into a local shop the other day and there were three TT bikes on display right up front. One was a Felt with a cool aero frame, dura ace, profile carbon aero handlebar and carbon crank for $1999. I don't need a bike but I was thinking hard about this deal anyway.

Yeah, but most of them on the road here are training for the Ironman Wisconsin that comes within 2 miles of our house.
