That sounds decent to me. I have had the same thought sooo many times. Thankfully I found somebody recently who did not seem to care that I have a little extra chub. I still intend to work hard throughout the year, now it is as motivation to get a body that she will like...

Edit: Velo Vol is right, however it seems that being in shape will get you more attention. Ladies will take a second look...which gives you more opportunities

People are not stupid. For you to play the instant weight loss guy to get a chick is a game not worth playing. You are only fooling yourself. I dated a guy who was overweight. Overweight to the point of him not wanting to see his mother because she always reminded him. I guess he did not like the truth. When we met he was on Nutri-system on his quest to lose weight. I thought this was good because at that time I was a bit underweight and wanted someone to do outdoor things with. Guy buys a bike but has to say something about riding 10 miles. He could handle the distance but always made a big deal about it. He started to eat crap again and the bike became a clothing hanger. I could not take it anymore so I walked away from him. I would not be surprised if the guy is even larger than before.

Take it from a lady... it's personality not looks that atracts women. This explains why ugly, troll like men have babes on their arms (well personality and money!). Because men are attracted to looks they assume all women are as well.

I know an awful lot of lonely, buff, muscular men. So Don't lose weight to find a GF - For one thing, that is so superficial and what happens if you gain it back? Work on you , your confidence and personality. Do you have a good sense of humor, a quick ready smile.? Is your hygiene good (that is important to a woman)? Unless you are 900 lbs, stuck in a bed (and even those guys get women - go figure???) a GF is a possibility if you are ready and really want one.

Getting in shape is something you should do regardless of your romantic aspirations.

I struggle with staying in shape as the body is not always cooperative when it comes to exercising as much as I would like and I do owe it to a certain young lady and a few little girls that I be as fit as possible so we can enjoy our lives to the fullest.

I will ride 25 miles today no matter how much the body protests... the fact The Girl finds my legs to be sexy is just a bonus.
