hello, i want to put a new 8 inch for the front of my x1, will this one fitclick (http://www.123bikes.com/details.php?startpage=bikes&item_id=126) if that 8 inch rotor fits will i have to buy a ne caliper or any thing like that thanks

You will have to buy an adaptor. Depending on what fork you have.

i will have the drop off 11 on it buy the time i get the brake, wat kind of adapter are u talking about

Its a small piece of aluminum that attaches to the fork. Runs about 30 cdn I think

it mounts to the fork to allow the caliper to attach to the fork.

you can .... but for 8in you should need an adaptor for youre fork

can;t you find it?....sorry but I don't have time to search for a link for a product I don't use. I am not even 100% sure you will need one but assume you will to accomodate the size diff (I assume you are running 6in)

Well, most brake manuf. will include an adaptor with their brakes or will provide you with the info you need.
Call the shop (or online retailer) and ask if one comes with the brakes.
I would think if you get an 8" rotor and caliper kit, it should come with the necessary adapter.
