Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - blue cranksets and favored pedals

does anybody know who fabricates an anodized blue crankset? also what are people's favorite pedals an why. prefer clips. thanks in advance for any info.

campagnolo did their record pista chainsets anodized in gold and blue. you can find them overpriced on ebay.

Wow, I haven't seen blue cranks since the annodized craze in mid-90's...and since they were all CNC'd then I'll bet they're all broken now. Good luck, though.

You can get any old pair of ally cranks anodized, look in Yellow Pages under metal finishers or chemical platers or something.
As for pedals, I like Shimano M515s, cos they're dirt cheap and they work. I'd love to fit all my bikes with triple Ti Crank Brothers though (Mallets on the MTB (if I can ever afford one), Candys on my new Roberts audax/comuter thingy, the new road pedals on my Fort).

IIRC, they're not record, but strada, made for their '80's bmx group. i agree on the overpriced bit. plus, most of the broken campy cranks i've seen/heard about have been those...

i remember when bikeworks had them for like, $125...and that was only two years ago.
