Sounds great... but my 15th anniversary is the 10th. We're thinking about getting out of the region...

Nooooooooo. You, Skelduggery and EDR must come.

What's your wife like to do? I'll get me better half on the planning committee.

Mostly, she like to celebrate anniversaries w/out any cycling presence at all.

Dude, go race. Bring her home money, and take her out.

"Honey, I'm doing this for you!"

Mojito's and Tapas..."wow, there's a bike race here?" My wife distracts her for an hour while they go shopping on the square.

He'll probably need to come up with something a little better than that after 15 years :)

Killing me. Is it possible to reschedule an anniversary?

It is my understanding that a trip to Paris (France that is) is acceptable when done earlier than the actual date upon which an anniversary falls. (Might this turn into a "let's plan Waterrockets 15th wedding anniversay for him" thread? All due respect to RX.)

try not to break the bottom bracket of your marriage

I'm coming and bringing the wife and kids along as well. They can explore Dallas and I can get my teeth kicked in by the 40+ crowd. Good times.

Yeah I really want to go, but they posted the date the DAY AFTER I committed to another obligation on the same Friday night.

So, thanks. Looks like I'll miss a fun race.

/ cue my rant about USAC's stupid "flyer approved" policies... can we at least have placeholder dates for future races? Sheesh.

yes, but the divorce and remarriage can be costly and time consuming.

I'm with Botto. For a grand you could end up with a Tanya Harding moment.

This is a pretty crazy sport, when you think about it. If I'm driving to a race, planning my strategy mostly to avoid stopping at an ATM on the way home...

Always thought if I won the lotto one of my first tasks would be to throw down a $1000 prime at some local 4's race. Just to watch.

Might even be better at a college B race.

College students who are invincible given the opportunity to win $1k on a bike? Oh. My. God.

The only downside vs. a 4s race is the collegiate race is likely to only be ~30 people, while you could get 75 in the 4s.
