I'm very new to folding bikes,
but am looking for a vintage folder to commute
a short distance (rain bike).
I would keep it in the trunk of my car.

I am interested in your opinion of this bike.
Is it a low-end tank and not worth $50-$75?
I'm thinking it's 1970's department store variety
- don't really know...Is this pretty cool or just a garage sale tank.

What do you guys think...

Yes, it does appear to be a bit of a tank. Looks rusty and creaky and the handle bars (what little we can see of them) appear to be at an odd angle. Single-speed with only a coaster brake - better be a flat commute.

$30, maybe?

I'd sure prefer my Dahon S1 to this bike for an occasional commute...Now, if this was a very unique design, that might be something different.

Thanks - I had a feeling it was tank material...seatpost possibly rusted/stuck. I appreciate the quick reply.

I will keep looking. I wanted an interesting/vintage folder - I am probably one of many.
