Mountain Biking - best way to do medium size drops?

around 3-5 foot drops.
Whats the best way?
I find that landing on the back wheel and coming forward is the best way for me.
I like landing on my front wheel.

Squarely on both works for me. I haven't done many drops lately though. But, from previous jumps, I think faster is better.
Yep that is the best way for flat landings.

yep.
finding it really hard to find good drops offs in my town. Cant go biking on trails due to the fact they are ice and I dont have studed tires.
