Anyone have any input or insight on this bike?

100% satisfied with it. For a carbon bike with full ultegra, it is right up there with the best. it retails for 2100 but you should be able to get it down to 1700-1750 + tax. I test road this one for 10 miles, then tested the trek 5200. Very little difference at all! I recomend you ride the two, one right after the other, you will feel totatly confident buying the giant. here is a pic of mine.

I've had one since April. I couldn't be happier with the bike minus the wheels, but that's a different issue altogether. For the price it's a very good deal in my opinion. Like mcavana said, try riding other bikes back to back and see which works the best for you. And make sure you're set up correctly for the compact geometry.

I was at a race in Venice Fl. A young rider on a Giant TCR got too close to another rider. The TCR took a pedal to the water bottle cage and it broke the carbon frame at the bottom bracket to the cage. It was the first time he had rode the bike. It was done. If it can be fixed it will have to be shipped back to china.

My last bike was a TCR 1 (2003 Ultegra) and I really liked it. I did change the wheelset though but other than that the bike was great. The only reason I got rid of it was that the shop that I work for from time to time quit carrying Giant. For the price I still think it is one of the best bikes out there.

i would think the lifetime frame warranty would cover that one... wouldn't it?
