Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Which is best? Halloween candy, Christmas Candy, Valentines Day Candy, or Easter candy?
Each has it's own benefits, beside rotting your teeth.
Halloween: Candy corn, little candy bars, MaryJanes.

I like to let them dry out and become Peep Jerky.
That sounds good too, but I think they'd look like road kill that way...no?

Len Libbys Dark Chocolate covered cashews. (wonderful)
Swiss Choc out of a Swiss market (fresh)
Belgium chocolate milk
my hot chocolate ( a coworker once described it as better than sex)
Choc shake at Moody's Diner in Waldoboro, Me.
Death by Chocolate Hot Fudge Sauce sundae
1)Melt 4oz baking chocolate and a stick of butter
2) Put your choice brownie mix into a bowl and stir in melted choc/butter (add a little water and stir)
3) cook ( do NOT overcook!!! Take the recommended time and reduce the temp to 300 or 325... should be at least a little gooey)
4) right out of the oven put in a bowl.
5) Top with Edy's French Silk ice cream (or some other coffee ice cream)
6) garnish ( I make the little joke) with the hot fudge sauce.
Hey! You didn't list stranger's candy. No seriously Easter rocks with the candy. Once you bite that ole' bunny's ears off, you can't stop.
Halloween.
Christmas, the candy is good, but you are limited to one stocking full
Easter: You have to fight for the eggs and go to church.
Valentines Day: What the hell are those hearts made of anyway? My guess is cupid feces. Oh, and cupids are known to eat chalk.
Halloween: This is candy win. You chose the size of the sack and the supply is only limited by your own speed, strength and stamina. If you find a good vein, like the rich guy two blocks over giving out full sized Butterfingers, you can keep going back until the vein runs dry. Kids will share proprietary info with you about who is giving out what. Heck you can even trade candy you don't like with other kids.

I must clarify, chocolate is over rated. Unless it is used in it's proper application of covering peanut butter.
As much as I like jelly beans, I freakin' love me some Reese's.

Re mining a good vein, 2 blocks over and 2 blocks down from our house is the locus of halloween in the whole ... world as far as I can tell. Can almost never get to the door, but their next-door neighbors get 1000 items to give away, and out to the end of their block (towards us) they're down to 500 items. For us way out on the periphery it's just 1-200 to get us through the night.
I like to bite the heads off the chocolate Easter bunnies.

I eat the ears, arms, and legs first off the Easter Bunny so he can watch. The I eat the eyes. I've done this since I was a kid. It makes me happy.

Peeps. I don't know why I eat them. I like the first 100, the last 900 though seem harder to eat.

See's Gift Certificate - like buying gold! I have a few old ones left over - the value has increased triple fold in a few years!!!!!!
But that reminds me - may have to use one to get me some Bordeaux eggs!

I think Halloween provides the biggest variety.

The worst thing See's ever did is build a commercial website - now visitors unnecessary - you can order direct! If I do come visit, I'll be sure to bring a lb of soft centers - if the box survives the trip - those are my favorites as well. For me it's easier to list the See's I don't like then do!
