I'm thinking about registering, looks like a great time. I've ridden around that area before and its beautiful. Past stories?

It's early in the season yet. Keep posting and the party will liven up again. :bike2:
I did this ride a couple of years ago. It was a lot of fun despite missing the first rest stop. (I think I was racing a buddy and we both got too distracted to notice.) It was well organized and the route certainly provided some challenges. It went something like this: shift up, up, up, up, up, shift down, down, down, down, down, change to small chain ring, shift down, down, down, change to big chain ring, shift up, shift up. Then repeat about a hundred times. If I remember correctly more than 10% got sagged in and a few more cut a few miles off the end.

This year will be my third time on this ride. You are either going up or down hill, not much flat at all. The route ends with with a long climb that kicks up to over 10% for about the .5 mile. The support is really great and the beer at the finish line helps motivate you up the last hill.
