Winter Cycling - Should I be happy ?

40's and a shot at 50 this week, - but rain in the forecast every day. I might be missing the snow by Friday.

Bleargh. I'd be wishing for snow for sure.

I have a general policy about this. Whenever I have the choice to be happy or not, I always choose happy. YMMV.

Hey ho. The forecast was for a return of snow tonight, after a very warm ( for this time of year ) week. Just checked, Yup. Light snow, not sticking, yet, but with 2 inches forecast, it will. Knew it wasn't time to take off the studs.

I guess I'll be happy then. It's relatively warm for this time of year and the rain has done in the last remaining slabs of ice on the MUP that makes up part of my commute.

I could ride my road bike if I had it ready. Looks like the sun returns next week but also possibly some snow. Not counting winter out quite yet but the studs' days are definitely numbered.

Just got 10 inches of fresh in town, almost 4 feet up in the mountains, and the mercury's hovering around 5F. I'm stoked to be right here, right now. I'm guessing many wouldn't be, so they're happy that they're not.

walked outside at lunch the last 2 days and even took a breather on a bench in the sun. today is darker and drizzly so I walked in the mall. at least there weren't any young hotties grabbing me and tempting me by rubbing lotion on my arm. :(
