Met the Mayor at the bottom of GMR about 11 AM this morning. There was some worry about if it was going to rain on us durring this ride, but we went anyway. Not too far above the gate(about 5 feet actually) it was hot enough to start shedding clothes. Jackets at least. The road up was dry for the most part and no rain or sprinkles. That would not be the case on the way down. Stopped now and then on way up for photo ops and made the top after getting jackets out right above Newmans Point. Was glad we did as the short downhill around mile 7 or so was a cold one. Being as cloudy as it was, the view from the top just past the shed was limited when looking higher up towards Baldy and the High Country. There was a view down towards the valley, but not the one that usually is there. Ride was well worth the time and effort.

Finally! YT can be a pain in the rear sometimes!:D

The video

Funny how things work out. Gina noticed that the songs says "got my feet on the ground" just as HB gets off the bike to take a pic and.......has his feet on the ground!
