For longest ride in a day, it was only 210km but it was the longest ride reported when all members were asked about distances last year. I'm pretty sure next year it will go to another home but I'm happy to have it for a year. Kids thought it was pretty cool to see daddy going up to recieve an award!:)

I've been riding some randonneuring rides, 200-211k or so. In the world of randonneuring, that's just nothing, and I'm a nobody there. But at the local bike shop ride, I'm a Somebody, having ridden farther than pretty much anyone there. Funny how that works. Enjoy the award.

On my randonneuring rides, they have some routes that are flatter than others, and I'm hoping to do a flatter 300k sometime this year. You should look into that, just to be sure you keep that award.

I don't know if I'll ever be into randonneuring, I love riding longish distances but I hate having to take it easy to go those distances..lol
