Has it got disc brake mounts on the forks and frame? If you have them then yeah it will work. If not, i think you can get adaptors for it.

Well, there's a bit more to it than that. Disc brakes are a lot less forgiving of minor misalignments than rim brakes. Finding the right adapters shims and whatever - positioning the caliper properly can be a major PITA. I've never gotten it right the first time or even the second time. Good luck.

I'm getting a front disc break on Teusday, should go well i hope. Will let you know though.

Good luck.Avid mechanicals don't use shims and are stupid easy to set up.

The front is the main one to swap out. If your fork doesn't have the mount... reason to upgrade... agree with Avid mech... best for your buck and low maintenance.
