I stopped by the shop today on the way home from work. A couple of newer bikes really caught my attention- two different styles of bikes that could both be considered hybrids, both of which are real eye-catchers (at least to me).
First, the Marin Lombard (http://www.marinbikes.com/2010/bike_specs.php?serialnum=1556). It's under their Street > Urban category on their site and they call it a road/cyclocross bike. I think it would be a great commuter for my 17 mile commute.

The second can be found under the Marin Bridgeway FS (http://www.marinbikes.com/2010/bike_specs.php?serialnum=1645), from their Steet > Metro category. Another rather beautiful bike.

Although this one has a front suspension, there are other Bridgeway versions with fixed forks. A very refined looking bike.
Both bikes were pretty affordable for what they were, too. I think I'm getting the itch for a new commuter (to which my wife would reply, "Down, boy!).
