When I ordered my Neg G's, I ordered a set of KoolStop pads for carbon rims from them as well. Then realized that i received a set of Swiss Stop pads with my carbon wheelset. Stupid question time: can the koolstop's be run(effectively) with my aluminum training wheelset?
No the KoolStop "carbon" inserts are unsuited for use on alloy rims. Either save them for when your Swiss Stops wear out or exchange them for KS salmon, or dual compound shoes or inserts.
