I thought the domain name was such a chuckle that I sent the woman that owned it a pm on another forum. Mostly it was to let her know that the site was down.
The blog she had on it had just been hacked and and she was getting tired of it. A few pms later I wound up with the domain.
I've just put in about 3 weeks of work getting a site up with a forum. I think the index page at dearflabby.com (http://dearflabby.com) is probably the most fun. But my sense of humor is a bit unique and I'm sure there will be different opinions.
There is already a really nice link back to this forum in an exercise (http://dearflabby.com/forum/index.php?topic=9.msg10;topicseen#msg10) post. Also the person who is doing the moderating right now is someone I (virtually) met in this forum.
The moderating can't be a lot of work since there are just about 20 posts right now. But if you feel like giving her more to do please feel free to drop by the forum and help it get off the ground.
I like mucking around with websites but this has been the most interesting thing I've ever done with one. Hope this doesn't seem too spamy but if it does feel completely free to delete it. No hard feelings at all.
