I just read tsl's proposal for a 50+ get together in New York (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?605836-A-Proposal-2nd-Annual-50-Forum-Ride-Weekend). Unfortunately, I'll still be working, and besides, it's too far.
Here, on the central coast of California, we have something called the Great Western Bicycle Rally (http://www.greatwesternbicyclerally.com/)on Memorial Day weekend. You can camp at the fairgrounds in Paso Robles, and there's a wide range of rides available. It's usually warm to hot that weekend.
This is much closer for me. I usually drive up and ride. Any 50+ people interested?
