Pacific Northwest - Seattle Bike Expo - March 13 & 14 - much improved

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Just got back from the first day of the Seattle Bike Expo. The new location (Pier 91) is much better than the venues they've had the past two years. I think parking is a little inconvenient if you're in a car, but if you go by bike you can pull right up to the door.

Lots of new exhibitors - the classic bike show is much bigger this year - Group Health doing free bike fit, first-come, first-served.

Great show this year.

I was disappointed by the lack of kids bikes on display. I was hoping to look at kids bikes and a bike trailer, I didn't see any trailers and few kids bikes.

The "kid's zone" was also really lame. Well, at least the kids had free admission.

I had to skip this one due to finals. Glad to hear the Expo has improved, although there were some interesting exhibitors last year.

Ur right, I went to it also and thought it was much better this year. And everybody didn't get tickets for parking in the bike lane, ha!
Hope they can rent the space from Port of Seattle again for next year.
