Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg) - Bar end recommendation

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

First off, getting into biking is like taking crack, I think I am buying something new every week, and then this weekend I went to the LBS and looked at some high end bikes, all the while, my wife in my ear to put one on lay away (I know this isn't bad, lol)
Anyway, I bought a Trek 7.2 a few months ago, and added a bike rack, and a brooks saddle, but now because my hands need another position I think, I would like to buy bar ends.
Can anyone recommend good bike ends for a Trek 7.2? Thanks all!!
Bar ends on riser bars? The fashion police will be after you.
I've got the Profile Boxer SOS

bar ends, I don't have to be pretty, just comfy, lol. The Trek has straight bars, so I am looking for an alternative hand position.

Jim Dandy ends - I have those: they were a gift from a biker friend.
The ones I originally wanted were Ergon 3 - the Ergon 3 has a nicer piece on the end for the handshake position.

Salsa, Medium lengths or longs... I find the extra inch of length or close to it is helpful.

Look for ones that curl up at the ends rathe than turn in. Then when you set them low they will correspond to the hoods position on a drop bar. These will be good in head winds. Then 6 months later you will be looking for a drop bar bike..
I know shorties, ergons, etc. are the current style trend in barends, but I prefer the long, smooth "L" shaped barends like these:

I think mine might be trek branded, or some other house brand, but regardless, they do the job, giving me more hand positions, and allowing me to get weight forward when needed to climb that section of trail.
I always thought these (http://www.amazon.com/Origin-Bicycle-Drop-Ends-Black/dp/B0013G6PB8/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1268610128&sr=1-5) looked interesting, but I've never tried them...

I have some ergons and titecs. They could use a some paint on the edges but they are free. Just pay for shipping and you can have them.

I like these: http://www.canecreek.com/component-other?product=ergo-control
I had them on my mountain bike and I loved them...
