Any recumbent riders in Vancouver, lower mainland and/or the Island?? Anybody interested in getting together for rides? I'm in the North Surrey area, I ride a Catrike Trail and can ride most any terrain (rain or shine) I've done some touring on our Gulf Islands and a summer time camping trip(2-3) day could easily be worked-out....

I want to get a tadpole, but I can't afford it...

Hello Oscuro,....bought my Cat Trail last July from Cambie Cycles. I had been waiting for the trike to arrive so I could try it out. I've got another trike (rotatorC3) that I've been riding for 3yrs. But when I tried out the Trail I bought it the next day. Has to be 15 lbs lighter, and 10" narrower and the cost is not too bad, some bikes/trikes can really put a dent in your finances. Check out their web site "CambieCycles.com" they have always been very helpful and informative.

Yeah, I was looking at perhaps something like a Terratrike Touring, but the cost on anything is prohibitive right now for me: Bad job + debts. Right now, the most expensive bike I own cost me $200 (But it is a really nice Miyata...). It's a "one of these days" dream to get a nice trike, and go hit the backroads, and crazy climbs. I haven't even tried a recumbent, but they just seem like such a comfortable ride. Although I am leery of 'bent bikes....something about balancing while reclining....
