Mountain Biking - Warrior Creek, 6 Hours of, who has ridden these trails?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
My new bike will not be ready in time.
Do any of you know if a Hard tail should be okay here? That is all I have at the moment.
I am stressing...

I have ridden Dark Mtn in Wilksboro and they are great trails. I would think a hardtail will be fine if W.C. is anything like the Dark Mtn trail.

6 hours on a hardtail is not a problem. 12 hours and no problem- Except the butt goes numb after about 9 hours.

Don't stress, you'll be fine. The Kerr Scott trails (Dark Mountain, Overmountain Victory Trail, & Warrior Creek) are generally fast, buffed, bermed, and FUN!. You may take a slight beating in certain rocky sections but it won't be sustained. The BMCC crew really knows how to build trails properly - even the rough sections are engineered. Don't expect any long grinder climbs. The best advice I can give is that if you can be smooth and carry speed through the corners and conserve your momentum, you will be rewarded.
If you can get 66 to come down off the mountain for this event I will be surprised. In 6 years I was only able to get him to do that once.
