The Ohio Valley Bike Club and O.O. McIntyre Park District are very excited about this weekend's IMBA Trail Crew visit at Raccoon Creek County Park (http://tiny.cc/2tmac). This is an great opportunity for OVBC, RCCP and those attending to draw on the IMBA Crews vast knowledge of all things singletrack. If you have a desire to build singletrack and do it correctly, this is the place to be.

The Raccoon Creek County Park is in its infancy concerning the development of mountain biking facilities but has potential for 20+ miles of singletrack. OVBC has been instrumental in the establishment of another local trail system at Bob Evans Farm (http://tiny.cc/befgmap) in Rio Grande and look forward to our involvement with RCCP's trail system.

This weekend's schedule is as follows:

Friday (4/9) - optional
6pm - Group Ride at Bob Evans Farm (http://tiny.cc/befgmap) (1.5 - 2hrs, meet at end of gravel road directly across from Bob Evan Restaurant, at gate near pond)

Saturday (4/10) (at Raccoon Creek County Park)
9am-Noon - IMBA Trail Building School (http://www.imba.com/tcc/trailschool.html), Classroom Session (at park office)
Noon - 1pm - Lunch (provided)
1pm - 5pm - IMBA Trail Building School, Field Session

Sunday (4/11) - optional
9:30am - Group Ride at Raccoon Creek County Park (meet at uppermost parking lot - turn left off of Dan Jones Rd from SR 775 entrance)

Directions (http://www.oomcintyreparkdistrict.org/?page_id=27) to RCCP.

We will have various trail building hand tools but not enough for all attendees. So please bring along what you have access to.

If you should have any questions, please feel free to contact me. We still have room for additional attendees. If you know anyone that may be interested, please pass this along. They can contact me to register.

Thanks,
