Hello everybody! I've been reading this forum for a week or so and decided to stop just lurking around and say hi. I'm 27 and looking to start riding again to get back into shape and for the fun of it (obviously). Growing up I rode recreationally with friends and wanted to start that back up. My real motivation is to get into (good enough) shape in time for the Boilermaker in July, which is a 15km run in Utica, NY.
Since I'm all grown up I also decided it was time to put my old/cheap MTB out to pasture (donation) and buy a real bike. After looking around at the few LBS's around me I went for the Fuji Absolute 3.0. I get to pick it up today with the weather outlook nice and sunny and entirely too much work to leave the office :(. At least the rest of the week looks just as warm and sunny :D.
