I've been lurking for a very little while and finally decided to join up! There is a TON of info here! And as always with the biking crowd, everyone seems polite, sincere and ready to help one another!

I'm a Iowan, born and raised here. Home of RAGBRAI! (traveling circus) I live in Waterloo, IA and I think we have an awesome trail system here and still growing like crazy! We, my wife Julie and I also enjoy many trips to Lanesboro, MN every summer!

I was raised on an active dairy farm and have since retired from that business back in the late 1980s and created a European specialty car service repair/tuning shop.

I spend my spare time taking care of my acreage, visiting my 4 grandchildren, gardening, BIKING! working out, and last but not least fishing!

Hi there! I'm "vwmeister" I brought RAGBRAI up earlier this year and a few mentioned that they were going to ride it. Maybe we should start a thread on pkg?

yeah, i knew who you were after you said you were a member. i just rejuvenated your thread, but maybe we should start an official "i'm going" thread...

Probably the Madone, I haven't ruled the Tommasini out though!

i dont recall knowing you had a tommasini, which one?

my dad has a tecno with full record 10spd.

if anything, you need to post a pic for me...

I picked up a nice used Super Prestige a few weeks ago at my LBS. A red one laced with campy.

I'll post up a pic of it up as soon as I get it back from the shop.
