Bicycle Mechanics - Cartridge bearings

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I need some new cartridge bearings for my BB. Bike Tools ETC (http://www.biketoolsetc.com) has them, but I'm not sure about the measurements they give. For example," The B6001 has the following measurements-- ID 12,0; OD 28,0; Thick 8,0mm. Dual-lip full contact seals. 90% grease fill with Mobilux 2 waterproof grease". What is ID and OD?

just a guess but.... inside diameter and outside diameter?:confused: If you wait till you get your cranks it normally shows the exact bb to use with it. (I did that with my shimano ultegra cranks)

My bike uses an unusual BB. I have a 93 Gary Fisher MT TAM. It uses a spindle, cartridge bearings, and snap rings. I wish I had a threaded cartridge BB.
ID=inner diameter
OD=outer diameter
BCD= between center diameter
Thanks D! Now I have to find a spindle.
