Is this a real Swchinn or one made for the mass market stores? Is it good for the money?

Well, since Schwinn is owned by Pacific, I'm not sure what you mean. If you're asking whether it's an LBS versus x-mart product, see if it is the Schwinn Bike (http://www.schwinnbike.com/usa/eng/) Catalog. Those are the higher quality LBS bikes.

Ah, I see it's not in there. I was just confused because this bike for example:

Says "By Pacific Cycle" on amazon, while as the Exit said "By Schwinn"

There is no such thing as a "real Schwinn" in the classic sense of the word "Schwinn." Schwinn is just the name on a decal placed on cheap, Asian-built frames (NTTIAWWT)

There are different levels of Schwinn. One product line is sold in the big box stores like Wal-Mart; the other line is only available at bike shops. Big difference in quality.
