hello all i have been riding this Bianchi that was probably made in japan for about 20 years
the gears are now worn out and parts are not available easily
any idea of the value now?
I know it is not the high end but it has served me for many a mile and there is sentimental value
(the bike that i used as a carrier when i was laid off from the government by damn Regan in the 80s) it was a step up from the Austro Damiler i had been riding!!! (any one recogonize that mane!!)

Parts are available, used or new, on eBay. I don't think dollars can be put on sentiment. An Italian Special once denoted upscale in the various models offered. Can you describe the parts, maybe post a picture?

if "the gears are worn out" means it is not ridable I don't think it has much value. if the chain/freewheel is excessivly worn new parts (or used) can be obtained to make it ridable. is there a spefic item on the drive train that needs repaired?

IMHO some Austro Daimlers were as nice as some Bianchis
