First off, let me introduce myself I've been lurking for awhile now. My name is Nick and I live in Kansas, I'm 22, 5' 10" 225lbs and a senior in engineering. I have a Gary Fisher Piranha MTB and a cheap-o Corsa FA road bike(good enough for me)

Anyways! Ah man! I went mt. biking this afternoon on my piranha, and everything just came together. It must have been a number of things. I adjusted my seat, been working out the last 2 weeks, been eating better, and putting some mile on my road bike. This was by far my best day riding.

Usually I can only ride about 4 miles on the single tracks before I get tired but today I rode 6 miles. I'm sure someone is laughing at me right now, but oh well. Plus I set a top speed on my MTB 28.2 mph(downhill section of course)! And to top it I did my first real bunny hop out in "the wild."

I'm so pumped right now! I might just go for a jog or jump on my road bike to top it off!

Awesome. I love the feeling of things coming together, too. It's like when you shift gears ad realize that the ratio is perfect or your position on the saddle lets you pound more efficiently.
